Congratulations to C. E. King High School students, Lauryn Waggoner and Andrea Rodriguez. The two were recently honored at the RSI-RBI-IBEW Foundation Awards Gala. This foundation honors superstar athletes from around the area, including Katy ISD, HISD, Sheldon ISD, University of Houston and Rice University among many others.
C. E. King High School basketball player, Gilbert Thomas, has been nominated for the prestigious Guy V. Lewis Player of the Year Award.
A special remembrance ceremony was held on Monday, February 8, 2016 for C. E. King Middle School student, Andrea Cortez.
Andrea passed away last week after losing her battle to cancer. She was in the 7th grade, and well-liked by her peers. She also a proud member of the King Middle School band.

Sheldon ISD is getting ready for its biggest annual fundraiser, the Sheldon Shuffle 5K run/walk. All money raised goes toward the Sheldon Education Foundation, which allows the Foundation to award grants to our teachers and scholarships for our kids!
Sheldon Elementary School is energizing student learning by bringing real world offshore drilling technology to our students. On Monday, January 25, 2016 we brought the museum to our school.
